Overview

Manage multiple warehouse locations and track inventory across your business.

Creating a Warehouse

Step 1: Add Warehouse

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Warehouses"
  2. Click "Create Warehouse"
  3. You will see the warehouse form

Step 2: Enter Warehouse Details

  • Warehouse Name: Name of the warehouse
  • Location: Physical address
  • Manager: Responsible person
  • Contact: Phone and email
  • Type: Main warehouse, branch, retail store, etc.

Step 3: Save Warehouse

  • Review details
  • Click "Create Warehouse"
  • Warehouse is created

Managing Locations

Creating Locations

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Warehouses"
  2. Click on a warehouse
  3. Click "Add Location"
  4. Enter location details
  5. Click "Save"

Location Details

  • Location Name: Aisle, shelf, bin, etc.
  • Location Code: Unique identifier
  • Capacity: Maximum items
  • Type: Shelf, bin, rack, etc.

Location Hierarchy

  • Warehouse > Zone > Aisle > Shelf > Bin
  • Organize for efficient picking
  • Track inventory at each level

Warehouse Operations

Receiving Goods

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Warehouses"
  2. Click on warehouse
  3. Click "Receive Goods"
  4. Enter purchase order or receipt details
  5. Assign to locations
  6. Click "Complete Receipt"

Picking Orders

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Warehouses"
  2. Click on warehouse
  3. Click "Pick Order"
  4. View items to pick
  5. Scan items or enter manually
  6. Click "Complete Pick"

Shipping Goods

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Warehouses"
  2. Click on warehouse
  3. Click "Ship Order"
  4. Verify items
  5. Generate shipping label
  6. Click "Complete Shipment"

Multi-Warehouse Inventory

Viewing Total Inventory

  • View stock across all warehouses
  • See location of each item
  • Track available inventory

Transferring Between Warehouses

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Stock Transfers"
  2. Select source warehouse
  3. Select destination warehouse
  4. Add items and quantities
  5. Click "Create Transfer"

  • Consolidate inventory from multiple locations
  • Reduce shipping costs
  • Improve efficiency

  • Warehouse Inventory Report

Generating Reports

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Warehouses"
  2. Click "Reports"
  3. Select report type
  4. Choose warehouse and date range
  5. Click "Generate"
