Overview

Track and manage your inventory stock levels across all locations.

Adding Stock

Recording Stock Receipts

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Stock Management"
  2. Click "Add Stock"
  3. Select the product
  4. Enter quantity received
  5. Select warehouse location
  6. Click "Save"

Stock Receipt Details

  • Product and quantity
  • Warehouse location
  • Receipt date
  • Reference number (PO, invoice, etc.)
  • Cost per unit

Adjusting Stock

Stock Adjustments

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Stock Management"
  2. Click "Adjust Stock"
  3. Select the product
  4. Enter adjustment quantity
  5. Enter reason for adjustment
  6. Click "Save"

Adjustment Reasons

  • Damage or loss
  • Inventory count discrepancy
  • Return from customer
  • Correction of error
  • Theft or shrinkage

Stock Levels

Viewing Stock Levels

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Stock Management"
  2. View current stock levels
  3. Filter by product or location
  4. Sort by quantity or value

Stock Information

  • Current quantity on hand
  • Reorder level
  • Quantity on order
  • Stock value
  • Last updated

Low Stock Alerts

Setting Reorder Levels

  1. Go to "Inventory" > "Products"
  2. Click on the product
  3. Set "Reorder Level"
  4. Set "Reorder Quantity"
  5. Click "Save"

Receiving Alerts

  • Automatic alerts when stock falls below reorder level
  • Email notifications
  • In-app notifications

Stock Valuation

Valuation Methods

  • FIFO: First In, First Out
  • LIFO: Last In, First Out
  • Average Cost: Weighted average cost

Calculating Stock Value

  • Total stock value = Quantity × Unit Cost
  • Used for balance sheet valuation
  • Important for financial reporting
