Logging In to Quick Accounting

Login Process

Follow these steps to access your Quick Accounting account:

Step 1: Access the Login Page

  1. Visit www.myquickapp.com
  2. Click the "Login" button
  3. You will be directed to the login form

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials

  • Email: Enter the email address you used to create your account
  • Password: Enter your password

Step 3: Click Login

  • Click the "Login" button
  • You will be authenticated and directed to your dashboard

Step 4: Select Your Organization

  • If you have multiple organizations, select the one you want to work with
  • You will be taken to the main dashboard

Dashboard Overview

Once logged in, you will see the main dashboard with:

  • Navigation Menu: Access all modules (Accounting, Invoicing, Inventory, POS, etc.)
  • Quick Stats: Overview of key business metrics
  • Recent Transactions: Latest invoices, payments, and sales
  • User Profile: Access settings and account options

Staying Logged In

Remember Me Option

  • Check the "Remember Me" checkbox on the login page to stay logged in
  • Your session will persist for a longer period
  • Only use this on personal devices for security

Session Timeout

  • For security, your session will automatically expire after a period of inactivity
  • You will be prompted to log in again
  • Any unsaved work will be lost, so save frequently

Forgot Your Password?

Password Recovery Steps

  1. Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for a password reset link
  4. Click the link and enter a new password
  5. Log in with your new password

Password Reset Tips

  • The reset link expires after 24 hours
  • If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder
  • Request a new reset link if the first one expires

Logging Out

How to Logout

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Logout" from the dropdown menu
  3. You will be returned to the login page

Security Best Practices

  • Always logout when using shared computers
  • Close your browser completely after logging out
  • Never share your login credentials with anyone

Troubleshooting Login Issues

Incorrect Email or Password

  • Verify your email address is spelled correctly
  • Check that Caps Lock is not enabled
  • Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password

Account Not Verified

  • Check your email for the verification link
  • Click the verification link to activate your account
  • Request a new verification email if needed

Account Locked

  • After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked
  • Wait 30 minutes before trying again
  • Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password
